Scheduled Beading Classes: Classes are $45-$60 for instruction, including $10 credit toward your choice of materials
Classes are $45-$60 per person and includes a $10 credit toward class materials, unless otherwise noted. After class, each student will receive a 15% off coupon to be used at their discretion toward beading materials on one future visit, (parties or classes exempt from future discount.) Beading classes run approximately 1 ½ hours long. Please arrive earlier before class starts so you can choose your materials. In order to reserve your class, we request a $25 deposit before the beginning of the class. Private classes start at $65 per person and are arranged directly with the instructor.

Tweedy Bracelet (Mon., October 6 - 5:30-7:30PM)
This is a wonderful contemporary design by Anita Reinehr. The bracelet can be dressed up or down, can be casual or dressy depending on the bead colors and finishes utilized. You will learn the Square Stitch method of off loom bead bead weaving. As this class requires 2 hours of instructions, the class fee is $45..

Magatama Daisy Bracelet (October 24- 6:30-9:00PM)
Make this fun and feminine bracelet showcasing the Daisy bead weaving stitch. This bracelet is so very delicate and sweet. This technique lends itself to other wonderful designs and applications. This bracelet uses Magatama seed beads, which are tear drop shaped, to make the flower petals.

This is a stunning pendant made from glass or genuine pearls, bugle and seed beads. You will weave this flower together and make a matching bale. This class can be taken in tandem with the Herringbone Chain, and if taken together, the cost is $75 clases for both classes, and you receive one $15 credit on materials.

The herringbone stitch is a beautifully textured stitch that showcases the colors of your beads. This chain goes well with the Pearl Medallion. We are offering your choice of both or one class for $45 or if taken together, the cost is $75 with one $15 credit on materials. .
Briolette Necklace Class Fee $45 (Wed. 10/1 6PM, Wed. 11/12 6PM)
This is one of Beadtopia's most popular classes. This class is a great introduction to wire wrapping. Students will learn how to wire wrap teardrop shaped beads, also known as briolettes. This necklace design is very popular as it works with casual or more formal wear. If you use crystals, the necklace has a more dressy look, but the same technique can be made more edgier using rough cut semi-precious stones. Students will learn how to wire wrap briolettes onto a sterling silver or gold filled chain and how to attach a clasp.
Pearl Knotting Class Fee $45 (Sat. 10/11 11AM, Wed 10/22 6PM, Sat 11/18 11AM, Wed 11/19 6PM)
Pearl knotting is the
quintessential beading technique. Perhaps you always wanted to restring your grandmother's pearls. Maybe you have a jewelry box of old vintage necklaces that have beautiful glass and crystal beads but the necklace clasp is broken. This is your class. We will teach you how to use silk cord and hand knot beads. You will learn the types of findings, jewelry clasps needed for pearl knotting. You will also learn about using silk cord and how to handle its properties.
Ladder Stitch Class Fee $45
This class is intended to be an introduction to basic bead stringing. Add this interesting technique to your crafting skills by making a beautiful woven bracelet using Czech fire-polished crystals and beads. You will learn how to chose flexible beading wire and learn how to use crimp beads to finish the beaded bracelet. You will also learn hw to chose the jewlery clasps and findings for a basic beaded project. The beauty of this class is it's versitility. If you switch out the size and shape of the beads, the project takes on a different look.
Cabochon Wrap Class Fee $45 (Thurs, 10/9 6PM, Wed 10/29 6PM)
This is another Beadtopia Favorite class. Students will learn how to encase a cabochon with wire, also making a bale with decorative elements. Chose a cabochon, which is a bead without a hole and with a flat back. You can also chose a semi-precious stone slab or large flat bead instead of a cabochon. Students will learn how to cage a cabochon with wire and construct a matching bale. Once you learn this technique, students can encase many decorative items, such as arrowheads, slab stones, beach sea glass, or a vintage bric-a-brac. You will learn you don't need a bead with drilled holes; you can go beyond the basics and learn that anything can become a pendant or part of your jewelry.
Easy Beaded Gifts Class Fee $45 (Sat, 10/18 10AM, Sat. 12/6 10AM)
This is a beginning stringing class for super quick gifts. Make a stretch ring, strung necklace with beading wire, and a memory wire bracelet. Just in time for holiday gift giving, any of the items made will make any one on your gift list very happy.
Crystal & Wire Ring Class Fee $45 (Wed. 10/1 6PM, Wed. 11/5 6PM )
This is another very popular class at Beadtopia. Why? Not very many beaders make rings, but you will learn that armed with the right knowledge, it isn't so difficult. These rings are often seen in fashion magazines for hundreds of dollars. You can learn to make them inexpensively and quickly. Also, if you are one who doesn't wear rings because they are hard to fit your fingers, you will learn how to size your own rings to be custom made for you. Learn to create a one-of-a-kind ring using Artistic Wire or sterling silver wire and your choice of beads and crystal.
Crochet Cuff (Private Class, by Appointment) Class Fee $60
This is a lacy crochet design using wire and you choice of beads. It's designed to have a feminine dainty look and is definitely one-of-a-kind. Knowlege of crochet stitches is required, including the chain stitch, single and double crochet. We will discuss working with wire and how it differs than crocheting with yarn. We will also discuss the techniques of wire straightening and finishing techniques.
